When Renting Our Private Family Ski Vacation Homes Rental Agreement
A completed rental agreement is required before your reservation can be confirmed. You may download the agreement here. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and print the agreement. It can be downloaded at http://www.adobe.com.
Deposit Policy
A two-night credit card deposit (Visa or Mastercard) is due at the time of booking. Balance is due 45 days prior to arrival. For reservations made inside 45 days of arrival, full payment is due at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
The initial two-night deposit is non-refundable under any circumstance. If cancellation is made within 45 days prior to arrival, all monies will be forfeited unless the period can be rebooked, in which case a refund less the first two nights deposit may be made. If cancellation is made outside 45 days of arrival, the initial two nights deposit will be forfeited. In some situations, it may be possible to reschedule another mutally agreeable time-period.
Security Deposit
A signed, valid credit card voucher will be required at registration. The voucher will be marked "void" on departure provided there is no damage, missing inventory or telephone charges.
Nightly Minimum
A minimum five (5) nights rental is required during the ski season.
A minimum six (6) nights rental is required during the month of March and the Christmas season.
Reservations for fewer nights are occasionally possible, depending on the availability of short breaks between regular reservations. A short stay fee will be added for stays less than four nights.
Check In/Out
Check-in is after 4:00 p.m. on the arrival date. Check-out is before 10:00 a.m. on the departure date.
Taxes
Brighton house rentals are subject to a 11.6% sales and lodging tax.
Solitude house rentals are subject to a 13.6% sales and lodging tax.
Pets
We regret that no pets are allowed under any circumstances.
Directions
The Brighton Ski Resort Area is located in Big Cottonwood Canyon. Brighton is about 20 miles from downtown Salt Lake City and 25 miles from the Salt Lake City Airport. Click here for a map of the Salt Lake City Area. All Mount Majestic Properties are located within less than .5 miles of the Brighton Ski Resort and the Solitude Nordic Center. Limit of Liability
Mount Majestic Properties acts as an agent for property owners and accepts no liability on their behalf. In the event that a booked property becomes unavailable or uninhabitable due to circumstances beyond our control, we reserve the right to offer a refund or an alternative property. Mount Majestic Properties is not held responsible for any inconvenience, damage, injury or loss to persons or properties, directly or indirectly, by weather, negligence or wrongful act by any travel agent or transportation company or others beyond the direct control of Mount Majestic Properties.
