Alpine Creek #1

February 2010
Enjoyed a week of quiet, privacy and Solitude overlooking the slopes. Entertained family at Club Solitude and everyone had an unforgetably fun time! Thinking of purchasing a place in Solitude Village because I can Hardly wait to come back! The home was warm, welcome, and inviting. Not to mention immaculately clean. The bed is very comfortable. Thanks, Adrienne for the visit and the extra cooking utensiles. I had everything I needed or wanted during my stay, Thanks again.

Alpine Creek #3

February 2011
Great accommodation with plenty of space, amenities and the view of Solitude ski area is just fabulous. Our host Carole provided us with everything we needed. We had over 80inche of snow in our week in Solitude which made for amazing powder filled action, as they say out here we "shredded the gnar" which is the reason we came all the way from England. The great snow, hospitality and first class stay in Alpine Creek 3 mean we will be back again in the future.

There were only three of us for the stay. The condo is a delight. Nice carpeting and well decorated for a rental. Great view and the barbecue worked fine. The living room was nice to relax in and enjoy the view. The kitchen was well equiped and didn't skimp on things like salt and pepper (which would be a shame to buy things like that to use for a couple days). Overall the trip and stay was excellent. I am going to give some opinions on what might be improved upon... The parking spot was cramped with the Ford Expedition next to us lined up on his garage. The internet cuts in and out.

We had a fabulous time at Alpine Creek 3. The unit was everything that was advertised. Really great location. We are definitely going to be returning in the future. Adrienne was a most helpful host. Thank you!

The drive from SLC airport through the Big Cottonwood Canyon to the Alpine Creek condominiums in Solitude Village has been one of the most pleasant scenic and short drive to reach our ski destination. After settling into the gorgeously warm heart-feeling Alpine Creek Unit #3, the comfort of home was quickly achieved in the lovely quiet unit that presented one of the most breath-taking views of the mountain. The wireless internet was excellent. It will be a pleasant dream and desire to return soon to ski at this location again in the near future.

My kids and I spent a wonderful week at Alpine Creek #3. The view of the mountain is gorgeous and inspiring. Solitude Village is quaint and feels like a small European resort. The staff are very customer service oriented and the use of Club Solitude is a bonus. Adrienne, the realtor, provides that extra "touch" to make sure your stay is wonderful.

We loved the location that we were provided with by Adrienne. It was so nice to be somewhere quit, away from the noise of Los Angeles. We really felt at home and didn't want to leave :) We felt very welcomed and were treated very well. We will definately use Mount Majestic Properties again on future trips to Utah.

I looked for a reasonably priced vacation condo in the Solitude/Brighton area and found Alpine Creek #3 at the Solitude Village. We loved it. The condo was more spacious than it apeared on the website. The kitchen well equipped and the beds comfortable. The village and the slopes were easily accessible. We would love to come back again.

We had and incredible ski trip in Utah. We usually go to Colorado but are going to make this an annual. The weather was great, with fresh powder. The condo was perfect for us once we figured our the internet. WE enjoyed being away from the crowds up here, but close enough to walk to dinner at Creek Side restaurant. Adrienne was most helpful. We will be back.

Our 3rd year at solitude and we still love it. This year we went to Brighton ( Hey Fun!) and stayed in your condo, also a great find. I hope we will be back again.

We really enjoyed our selves here at solitude. The accommodations are wonderful, quaint, and comfortable. After skiing a full day, it was nice to come back, have dinner at the condo, and relax by the fire and take in the view. Adrienne maid sure everything was always right and certain we had everything at our disposal. Thank you again for a very enjoyable and memorable vacation.

The Tenant/Thompson family would like to thank you for renting out your beautiful condo for our family retreat. Minus a few minor skiing injuries our stay had been a wonderful one. What an amazing place Big Cottonwood canyon is. We hope to return for many more family vacations.

Your condo was perfect for our family Christmas vacation. Thank you so much for opening it up for us. The area is beautiful, and the skiing was perfect. I’m sure we’ll be back again.

Alpine Creek #4

February 2011
Wow, what a great place - both Solitude and Alpine Creek #4 condo. We found everyone very friendly, both staff and fellow skiers. In general Solitude seems to be about the skiing rather than the night time apres activities which suited us to the ground. The scenery and the skiing were spectacular. We experienced a little of everything with regards to climatic changes - from still sunny days to new dumps of that famous Utah powder. Alpine Creek #4 has a great kitchen and with Salt Lake City so close we were able to bring groceries to cook for most meals. We did however choose to eat out a few nights and there was plenty of choice. In particular we recommend The Yurt and Kimi's. Chicken Wings at The Thirsty Squirrel for lunch is also a must. We had Alpine Creek #4 made up as two doubles but it also has the flexibility of being set up as a double and two singles. The three toilets are also handy. And the mountain view form both the balcony and the lounge is spectacular!! Lastly the outdoor hot tub at Club Solitude after a day's hard skiing provides a great relaxation and most importantly gets the body ready for another day on the slopes. We highly recommend Alpine Creek #4 and Solitude - just don't book when we want to be there!!! We will be back.

March 2010
The unit was in great shape and had every amenity you could think of. We really appreciated little things-- like a bit of olive oil and paper towels. It's a little hard to explain where this unit is relative to the village and lift-- we arrived thinking it was a bit more ski-in/out than it really is. I think we'd choose the same unit, but we would probably at least look at what else is available. We met some folks at the Club who said they'd come up without a car-- something i would NOT recommend. You need to have a car for groceries and maybe at least one dinner out... can do it in the village by walking though. guests should know that before they come up. Thanks Adrienne and look forward to next year!

Had a great vacation and awesome skiing. Lodging was perfect for the 3 guys we had; everyone had their own bathroom! Would certainly go back there again. Took full advantage and appreciate everything Adrienne clued us in on (grocery stores, etc), there were no surprises except we did not realize we had a gas fireplace. The outside grill had gas and there was plenty of paper products (towels, toilet, etc.). We left coffee filters behind for the basic coffee maker (used paper towels first day), although it would not brew steaming hot coffee (had to microwave each cup even using warm water to brew it). There was another top notch coffee maker there, which had instructions on how to use it, but we never attempted it! We all had a great time, just wish it could have lasted longer. Skied Alta twice, Snowbird, and of course Solitude. Solitude certainly doesn't have the "town" but we didn't care; we were there to SKI! Thanks for the decent beds, we were in bed crazy early every nite after awesome skiing, a full menu (and okay... a beer or two). Sorry we missed you when you stopped by, would have been nice to have met you after all the e-mails and phone calls to set this up! After many Colorado trips, I think we found a new favorite!

Aspenglow

December 2010
We were very happy with the house and Mark and Diane were present, helpful, but not intrusive. We received a box of cheese and sausage as a welcome gift and consolation for our difficulty getting there. We could not have been happier. If you need referrels, please keep us in mind.

August 2010
We loved our guys getaway weekend at Aspenglow. The location is close enough to Solitude without being in the mix but you feel like you're all alone in the wilderness. The cabin is split with the tennants below who watch over the property. They went out of their way to not intrude on our privacy and enjoyment of the location and we never once felt their presence. We enjoyed leveraging their expertise for secret hikes and itenerary. Each member of our group of 5 was caught saying the same thing... "I love this place"! Enjoy your time at Aspenglow!

Loved the place and had great skiing. Wish we would have put some parental controls on the TV. My boys were enjoying the R rated movies a bit too much.

Aspens, The

February, 2011
We had a great time at The Aspens. Very nice place. Close to Great Western Lift. Love being able to ski in and ski out. Great service. Easy to reach owner or Carol for questions on anything. Brighton Ski Area worked great for our group because we had intermdiate and expert skiiers. And when we went to ski Alta one day, there was hardly any options for intermidiates. The only draw back to Brighton is that there is no town. However, the fresh powder and great mountain made up for lack of town amenities. I would strongly recommend this house to anyone else looking for family or group ski vacation.
Michael T.

November, 2010
The Aspens was a perfect cabin for our Thanksgiving holiday. The fully stocked kitchen made it easy to prepare our traditional family dishes. The hot tub and flat screen t.v. provided sorely needed relaxation after long ski days. Thanks for sharing, we'll definitely be back.
Alyson W.

February 2010
The Aspens is a beautiful place. We loved the skiing (after I finally got the hang of skiing down the little path). The snow was perfect and it was lots of fun skiing with the Mountain hosts. The children loved having puzzles to put together and lots of games and books to read. I am sorry that we accidentally ruined the melamine plate in the microwave and the spoon in the disposal. Other than that, everything was perfect. We hope that we left everything in good order. It was interesting to read the family history.

Chez Louisa

December 27, 2011
Our second consecutive New Year spent at Chez Louisa....and another top 5 vacation for us! The accommodations are excellent for 2 families. We love the spacious kitchen and fireplace area. Our kids love the lower level. If you love skiing, Brighton is a great place to ski. Lots of great runs, not crowded. And the best part.........Chez Louisa is truly SKI IN / SKI OUT - right out the back door!
Grand Rapids, MI

March 2011
We thoroughly enjoyed our week in Brighton. The snow made it perfect. We had a great week of beautiful scenery, great skiing, and helpful people. Carol was so kind to see to our every need. The house was very comfortable even though it was a little older. All of the family said it was the best vacation yet.

December 2010
Adrienne and Jay......thank you very much for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful week at Chez Louisa! What a great place to stay. Wake up in the morning, put your skis on, and ski a couple hundred yards down the trail to the Great Western ski lift. In 10 minutes you are at the top of a 10,000 foot mountain ready to hit the powdery slopes. After a couple hours, ski back to your doorstep, and go enjoy some hot cocoa and warm up your toes by the fire. Then, return to skiing. How easy is that? It is truly ski in / ski out! The house is very clean and it includes all the amenities you will need. We had 9 people in our party (2 families) for six days and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is fabulous, and that's where you spend most of your time anyway. Our kids all hung out in the basement and absolutely loved it. Adrienne and Jay are great hosts. We will definitely return! One word of caution....if you don't know the area, make sure you hire a transportation company or you rent a good 4wd. We received 2 feet of snow the day we arrived at the house (and I was really glad I wasn't driving)!
Daniel D.

March 2010
loved the house and will stay there from here on out. master bedroom mattress was somewhat hard and uncomfortable but everything else was really great and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

February 2010
As usual our stay at Chez Louisa was fabulous. This was our fourth year to stay in this house. The house is very comfortable and warm. The hot tub is magnificent and if you don’t like to get wet, you can take a sauna. The house has a great kitchen facility and large great room. Grab a beer and build a fire in the huger fireplace. We will be back!

January 2010
We had two families with a total of 5 young children (ages 5-10) staying at Chez Louisa, and it was perfect. The open plan dining room / living room / kitchen area easily accomodates everyone. We fed the kids at the kitchen counter, and then they would go downstairs to play board games while the grownups had a quiet dinner at the table with the great view. The house is well organized for skiing as well. There's a "staging room" with seats for 3-4 people to put on boots at the same time, then step out the door to the deck where the skis are waiting, walk around the corner of the house and step onto the groomed snow that you ski down to the Great Western lift. For beginners, it's another 50yds from there to the bunny slope and ski school. Brighton is a great ski resort for families. It's basically the cul-de-sac of Big Cottonwood Canyon, so it's a huge bowl. The lifts all radiate out from the center up the sides of the bowl, and if you follow all the runs long enough they all end up back at the Brighton Center, which is where the ski school is. So it's easy to drop the kids off for a lesson, then ride up and be skiing down challenging slopes within 10 minutes, and come back at lunch to check on them without having to waste time on traverses. For the intermediate kids, Brighton has lots of easy tree runs, with very shallow pitch so you don't get much speed, and widely spaced trees so there's not much risk. Kids love skiing the trees. The abundance of trees on the mountain is very helpful when visibility is reduced on cloudy days ("flat light"). For advanced kids, there are plenty of steeper slopes, with and without moguls, that are safe to ski. And Brighton gets essentially the same snowfalls as Alta which is less than a mile away. Our family has skied all the big-name resorts in Utah (Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, Brighton, Canyons, Park, Deer Valley, Snowbasin, Powder Mountain) and in our opinion Brighton is the best all-around for families.

December 2009
Chez Louisa worked perfectly for our family holiday get-together.  The main floor bedrooms were comfortable for the 3 adult couples, while the lower level suite was a nice private get-away for our son, his wife, and their new baby.  When the baby was fussy, we didn't disturb her and she didn't disturb us!! The kitchen, dining, and living areas were a warm and comfortable place for everyone to gather.  We enjoyed the living room fireplace.  And we liked having casual meals at the wrap-around counter in the kitchen.  We also had great fun hanging out in the outdoor hot tub.  What a view! Being able to ski-in and ski-out was FANTASTIC.  We loved being just minutes from the Great Western lift.  Every ski home should be so convenient! We particularly appreciated Adrienne's kindness in putting up Christmas decorations for us.  We weren't able to be in our own home for Christmas this year, but Adrienne's efforts made us feel right at home in Chez Louisa.  Thanks, Adrienne!

We had a lovely and cozy vacation. Lots of fresh snow came on Tuesday so the skiing was the best! We visited snowbird for a day, we have skied copper canyon and the swiss alps but everyone agrees that this is the best all-around experience! Thank you for keeping such a cozy cabin clean.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us. We had a phenomenal riot! This place is phat. We had such and awesome time skiing in and out of this place. Snowboarding through the woods was our favorite part, however, some of us had a few fights with the trees, and lost. This is certainly the best ski home we have had the pleasure to stay at. We look forward to returning someday, and spending another fun, exciting, relaxing, awesome Brighton adventure.

Creekside

February 2011
Absolutely perfect -- the best ski holiday ever. The accommodations were especially good if you have children, the kitchen was super for meal preparations, everything was cosy and spotless, and the staff support was superb in every way.The proximity to the lodge and lifts made the logistics effortless. We hope to come back next year!!

January 2011
The property was spacious, clean, and well stocked with dishes, utensils, pots and pans, and paper goods. The six of us (four adults, two children 8 and 5) had plenty of room and really enjoyed our stay at Creekside.

March 2010
We really enjoyed our stay at Creekside. It was close to the lift and the kids enjoyed the pool table and X box in the evenings. The only disappointment for us was that we were not aware that it was a smoking house as we are all non smokers. We managed with scented candles but it would have been good to know before hand. We had a great time and appreciated the crock-pot and condiments that were already there!
Duane and Mary Jo

February 2010
We absolutely love staying at Creekside. It is such a comfortable place with room for our whole family. We really enjoy the kitchen (home-cooked meals), the upstairs and downstairs living areas, and the fact that there are two full baths. The Gardners are great to deal with as well. We especially appreciate their willingness to send us forgotten items, such as happened our first year there. We would love to come again.

We very much enjoyed our holiday vacation in your cabin. All of us ranging from the age from 6-79 skied and played ping pong while having a great time. We celebrated Christmas, Hanukah, and Kwanza. We had a great time this year, even exceeding last year, and hope to return next year. Thanks so much.

We had a wonderful trip and much of the reason for it being so great, was your beautiful and charming home. You have made it a comfortable refuge, with every detail thought of. On our last day we awoke to a blanket of fresh snow. It was magical. Thank you again for making our annual ski trip a great memory.

March 2006
You say we are the first people from Salt Lake City to stay at your home. Just the same we had a wonderful vacation. The peaceful mornings looking at the mountains waiting for the lifts to open. Coming back to the cabin for a lunch, hot cocoa, and a little rest, then back out for more skiing, then back out for some night skiing. Some Highlights for us were sledding on the groomed runs, ping pong tournaments, and listing to mom whistle while she cooks up a meal. We loved your place, thanks for everything.

Das AlpenHaus

Fabruary 2010
Das Alpen Haus was the perfect spot for our group. Everyone had their own room and bathroom and there was always more than enough space for all of us. The location is fantastic, as you could basically ski in and out or make the short walk to the base, which we enjoyed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook every night, and the wood burning fireplace on the main level got used every night. The owners were wonderful and stopped by to shovel snow off the deck and make sure we had everything we needed! Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would definitely come back.
Travis C.

February 2010
It was great. Lots of room, comfy bedrooms and bathrooms, ski in and out (wow!). The kitchen was well stocked too. I guess the one thing in the kitchen was the fact there weren't sharp knives. It worked really well for our mixed group of young children and adults. And of course, it was very clean. Thanks so much.
Mary F.

January 2010
Great Location, Kitchen has plenty of serving pieces and cooking pieces, everything worked and the owner was very helpful and checked with us to see if we needed anything to make of stay perfect.

Great Western

April 2010
This is a beautiful, new, well appointed, comfortable home 100 yards from the Brighton parking lot. The kitchen is well supplied with essentials. The family room is large with huge windows always providing magnificent views at breakfast and dinner. The family room is open and great for evening relaxing with large sofas and chairs. The Satellite TV and wireless internet worked well. All rooms had comfortable, warm queen beds with large closets and multiple windows. Downstairs the two rooms had queen beds, a TV, and shared a bathroom/shower. Entering downstairs at street level is a large area for skis, a boot warmer, and ample places to hang coats, hats, gloves, etc to dry. The second floor is an open kitchen/dining/living room with a laundry room and two rooms with separate bathrooms/showers. The third level loft is accessed by a ladder leading up to an open loft with two twin beds - kids loved climbing up there. It was nice to have a garage, though narrow, so your car is warm and you don't have to dig out of snow every morning. We visited the first week of April '11and had 8-18 inches of snow nearly every day for fantastic skiing. The Silver Fork Restaurant a few miles down the road is a very nice evening meal out by a roaring fire. Easy access from SLC airport and to return to town for supplies or sight seeing. Adrienne was available and called to see if we needed anything. First trip to Utah and we are coming back! Fantastic family vacation spot.

March 2010
The Great Western is a spectacular house. It is WAY above average for the ski houses and condo's we've rented through the US. It looks and feels like it is brand new. The furniture is very comfortable, the kitchen and living room are huge and the warming room for gear and boots is perfect. It takes a few minutes to walk to the Great Western lift, and it only takes 10 seconds to walk in the front door after you've finished skiing. You can ski through the woods and drop right down to the street and be 20 feet to the front door, fridge and hottub. We skied 2 foot of fresh in Brighton, the hit Solitude, before going to Alta, then Snowbird. At the end of the day at Solitude, we skied Backdoor to Brighton and walked home in less than 10 minutes. Alta didn't open Baldy/Ballroom until Monday morning, right when we showed up, so we got 3 fresh runs before a full day of high speed rippers. Is it me or does Alta have the best terrain in the States? The only problem we ran into was the pain in our legs by the fourth day.
Tom F.

March 2010
Our vacation and the skiing were great. The home was well equipped for all of our needs. TVs in the bedrooms would have been nice but I understand that dishes usually only allow for a two tv maximum. We would certainly stay at Great Western again when we come to Brighton.
Mike S.

February 2010
Our stay at Brighton was our first trip skiing in Utah and we throughly enjoyed the accomodations and the ski venues. Working with Adrienne at Mount Majestic properties made our vacation planning easy. We are both very busy individuals, and she was responsive and seemed to anticipate our needs. The Great Western home was amazing. We woke every morning to beautiful vistas of the mountain and at night it was peaceful relaxing in the great room. Beautifully appointed and comfortable home. We skied Brighton most of our stay. It was lively and challenging, but also had comfortable runs for warm up and end of the day. Molly's Green pub also had wonderful food and atomosphere. We took advantage of the great location and visited Park Ciy, Olympic Park and enjoyed a sleigh ride and dinner at the Homestead resort. Thank you Majestic Properties for creating such a memorable, relaxing and fun get away.

We had an amazing time. The location could not be beat. The house was fantastic... and the hot tub was the perfect way to top-off each day. Thanks so much for everything.

We enjoyed our stay at Great Western. Since we are only 1 minute away from Brighton resort, we went night skiing every night. We had a blast. We loved the hot tub because we could see our aunt and uncle and 2 cousins. The View is great. We loved our visit! Thanks!

Mahalo (thank you) for helping us (Hawaii people) get adjusted to this climate. We loved our stay in you cozy cabin. We especially loved the fact that is was a close commute to the ski lift. Thank you for all your help.

March 2006
What a great place so spacious and clean! This is the best ski cabin we have ever stayed in. We had a few minor, very minor, Negatives, no window coverings in the great room causes quite a green house effect in the afternoons- very hot and blinding sun, and makes you feel quite exposed at night. The plain white walls and the mismatching artwork and flimsy curtains don’t ad to the homey feeling. Also the dryer is really slow. Now back on the positive side, the cabin has amazing views and the hot tub is wonderful after a long day of skiing. The washer and dryer are a added bonus for all those wet ski clothes. The cabin was such a well equipped kitchen that we could cook what ever we wanted. The lost is a nice use of space, but the best thing of coarse is the excellent location.
Gillespie Family

January 2006
Wow! Best ski vacation we have ever been on! Skiing was great, snow was wonderful, people were so friendly, and a great home for families. The house was perfect, the kids loved it!the comfort and convenience as unmatchable. We usually go to Colorado to ski but it will be hard to go back there after experiencing Utah for our first time. Wouldn’t change a thing. We will be back. Thank you for the great memories.

July 2010
House was beautiful inside and out. We felt so at home. Had all amenities needed for great family vacation. We enjoyed views of wildlife from the deck, on hiking trails, and around Silver Lake. A deer came in the yard and seemed like it posed for photos! Moose were around the lake (easy walking distance) early in the morning and even saw one swimming. Icing on the cake was a car show in Brighton the last day! It was a fundraiser for the Christopher Reeve Foundation. My father was in heaven! Hotrods and muscle cars all over in pristine condition!

As a family place it was perfect for us. We greatly enjoyed La Vista and all its amenities.

January 2010

A couple of months ago my fiance and I had the opportunity to stay at "La Vista". It was a beautiful crisp snowy weekend at Brighton. The snow was falling and the ski resort had just opened. The house is so close to the resort we could see anxious skiers and snowboarders lined up in the morning to ride the lifts while we were sipping a hot beverage from inside. The scenery is lovely and the house is spectacular. It really is a dream home. Each bedroom and bathroom has an elegantly unique touch of style. The stone work throughout the house is breathtaking. "La Vista" came with all of the amenities you could want in a vacation home including a cozy fireplace and a hot tub with a beautiful view of the mountains. If you are looking for a very relaxing beautiful home in the mountains it doesn't get much better than this. Thanks Adrienne and Jay!

December 2009

We stayed a week in late December, with a large family ranging from ages 8 to 70. I really liked the the layout of the rooms and the pockets of activity-centric places. For a ski holiday, it was perfect. We were able to ski in and ski out rightdown to the Milly Express. After skiing, the hot tub followed by a suanawas just what was needed. Sitting by the fireplace capped off many evenings. Also, I can't say enough about Adrienne and her attention to detail andcustomer service. I highly recommend this property and I look forward to visiting again soon.

La Vista was about the nicest vacation home we've ever rented -- stylish and fresh, without being overly formal.  It was terrific for our group of 10.  The bedrooms were comfortable and private.  The closets were large, and the bathrooms were elegant. We also loved the kitchen, which was big enough for all of us to work in at the same time. Though the Millicent runs weren't yet open when we were there (early December), I imagine that the ability to ski-in and ski-out would be a big plus once they're open.  Super convenient. The very best part of La Vista, though, is the VIEW!  Wow!  The view of Mt. Millicent, filtered through the aspen forest, is just magnificent.  We loved sitting in the outdoor hot tub after a day of skiing, relishing that beautiful sight.  La Vista certainly is a perfect name for this home! We can't wait to come back again next year!

Just wanted to say thanks again for renting us your amazing home. Believe me it was tough to go back home after living in "La Vista" for a week.  I fell in love with so many different aspects of the house that I don't even know where to begin.  First off pictures don't do the house justice.  It's HUGE!  Comfortable for 10 people and plenty of room to spread out...each couple with their own room.  The kitchen was wide open, beautiful, and extremely functional.  Appliances large enough to cook for the whole crew.  I love how it is open to the dining room / living room.  Most of our time as a group was spent here despite the HUGE flat screen downstairs in the media room.  We were lucky and the weather was warm so we even were able to spend some time on the massive covered deck (with rock climbing wall of course).  We would ski right off the slopes and into the house (regardless of ability)...chill out on the deck, eat some lunch, grab a drink, and then right back on the slopes again. Perfect! Other parts of the house that drew rave reviews - heated floors, whole house stereo, gas lit wood burning fireplace, sauna room, washer and dryer on 1st and 3rd floors, color scheme and design, amazing views, the list just goes on and on.  La Vista was as much of a highlight to our trip as the skiing itself!  Thanks again for all that you did for us.  Whenever we come out to UT you can bet we will do it "La Vista" style.

La Vista Studio

February 2010
We really enjoyed our stay at La Vista studio. It was a beautiful house/studio, and it was in immaculate condition. Proximity to the mountain was awesome. Overall, we had a WONDERFUL stay at La Vista Studio and would definitely consider returning. I would also highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay right on the mountain! Thanks for everything, Adrienne!

Moose Creek is one of our families favorite places to stay. We have been there a number of times and each time are impressed with the continual improvements & upgrades. The new kitchen makes this place perfect.

February 2010
We absolutely loved our stay at Brighton. The Moose Creek cabin was almost perfect. We were a little jealous of the neighbors' hot tub. The loft upstairs was a great place to gather and watch the Olympics! The wood shed was also very convenient and we enjoyed fires in the wood stove every day. Thanks for a great vacation and we would definitely call you again.

February 2007
We had a great time here at Brighton! The cabin was perfect for our family. We'll be back next year, hopefully with friends so we can get a bigger cabin with a hot tub! We skied the Hidden Canyon (Try it if you love back country). Just ask a friendly local to take you down there. There are cliffs.

This was a great place for our family! Much better than a hotel--lots of room to unwind and stash our skis after a long day on the slopes. Plenty of snow for our Florida kids to enjoy and easy access to the mountain. Carol was beyond helpful in taking care of our needs. We look forward to returning next year.

December 2010
Adrienne and Carol looked after our every need. What I liked most about this property is that it didn't have that sterile hotel feeling. It felt like a home away from home--just what we wanted for Christmas.

December 2010
Our first time in Utah, but we had a great time in Brighton. Pine Meadows was the perfect place for us to stay. Plenty of space for everything and we where able to enjoy the fireplace every night. Special thanks for Carole who answered all our questions during of our stay and made our stay even more pleasant. Great location for skiing and to spend some quiet days in a snowy winter. Thank you for your hospitality and hopefully we will see you again soon.

February 2010
Everything was just as we expected and needed. Walking distance to the ski lifts, perfect snow conditions, and comfortable "cabin like" accomodations. Everything was clean, appliances and heat all worked well, and the fireplace was great. Will recommend this to our friends, and hopefully will be back next year for another week.

January 2010
We loved Pine Meadows. Spacious, quiet, comfortable, equipped with everything needed including plenty of dry firewood for the woodstove. Managers were so helpful-making our stay delightful. Great location for enjoying Brighton and Solitude. Can't wait to return.

The first Australians to stay here – Gidday! We have been traveling the U.S.A. and the six of us have really enjoyed our stay. Your home is lovely and re-ignited our desire to have a holiday home in the snow as you do. We had a fabulous time.

What an amazing week! The cabin was great. We managed to fine lots of freashies. With over 50in in one week, how could we go wrong? This trip will go down as one of my favorite birthdays ever! Thanks for everything.

March 2006
We had a great time at our mountain cabin. This is our third time staying in Utah, and Brighton is our favorite place. The cabin was great and the kids had a great time playing in the snow after a long day of skiing. The snow up here id the best. No lift lines and a great family place. The snow was almost 6-8 ft deep! The cabin was roomy and excellent for a family vacation. We hope to come back with more friends.
The Rowston Family

February 2006
This is our second year to come here, and we obviously love your place. Thank you for letting us stay. We had a wonderful time skiing each day and its great to go in outfits and be close enough to walk. The weather this week has been fantastic! The neighbors are great, we borrowed ketchup one day. Hoping to come next year,
The Hendersens

January 2006
We loved this cabin in the mountains and home to come back soon! The fire place was amazing! And we loved the variety in your albums (but were sad to see some missing). We were lucky enough to have so much snow! We skied, snowboarded, snowshoe, and cross county skied. How much more could you want in a winter getaway? Thanks so much!
The Johnsons

January 2006
Thank you for the use of your cabin. We enjoyed it so much. We had a fabulous time skiing. This was the first time our boys stayed in the mountains. Your place is quiet and delightful. We hope to come back. Thanks for the chips and salsa, they were delicious.

Point Clan Estate

December 2011
Beautiful log home and well equipped and maintained to accommodate family reunions. Large stocked kitchen great for family dinners and necessary since restaurants are not close to the resort. The house is walking distance to the Nordic Center but beware - the bus service from the Nordic center to Solitude is very unreliable. We're happy that we were familiar with the whole area to take advantage of ice climbing and snowshoeing as the snow conditions were unseasonably terrible. We know the backcountry skiing is terrific when there is snow! Clients need to know that because amenities are scarce at Solitude and Brighton, a gym, a grocery and a pharmacy become an all morning or afternoon excursion. The only available gym in Solitude is accessible to just hotel guests. The owner and property manager were very helpful and their hospitality was greatly appreciated. For families who enjoy a "road less traveled" kind of experience, this is the perfect place!Beautiful log home and well equipped and maintained to accommodate family reunions. We loved Point Clan! The place is so spacious and it's totally stocked with everything that you need, including kitchen basics. Even a boot dryer and sleds! Everything is new and in great condition. It's so close to the slopes that the drive is no problem. No TV or big stereo in the main room makes for a more homey vacation, and people can watch the game downstairs. Lots of big beds so it's ideal for couples or smallish groups like ours - not too many single beds for kids or a group of guys. We'd definitely recommend it.

December 2009
We loved our vacation. The house was perfect for our family, parents, children and grand-parents. It was beautiful, spacious and conveniently located near the slopes, with a car. We skied at both places Brighton and Solitude and liked them both. At Brighton free skiing for children 10 and under was a plus since we had 3 of those. I hope the house will be available if we want to go there next year! Too early to decide though.

December 2011
It was perfect in every possible way. Listing description absolutely accurate. Photos accurate. Property clean and beautifully maintained. Owners had a freshly cut and decorated xmas tree waiting for us and could not have been nicer or more accessible. It was blue sky and gorgeous and they provided deck chairs, sleds for the kids, reading lights and all the cooking pots we asked for. We had a stopped up toilet for a second that they jumped on and fixed immediately. They were in contact with us daily about our needs and wants but never overbearing or in the way. The house gave us cozy family comfort, privacy, space for the kids, plenty of ways to sleep, space to entertain invited friends and immediate access to the outdoors. It is in most beautiful location for sledding, walks, cross country skiing and a five minute drive to the Brighton ski resort. There were nine of us with kids ranging from 6-11 and we all wished we lived there all the time. The stars in the night sky from the hot tub were spectacular. We would highly recommend this to everyone we know and want to do it again. Note: We neglected to ask if home was pet free. One of our party is allergic to animals and felt some discomfort. We didn't ask and forgot to notice if website indicated pets or no pets.

What a beautiful home! It's size easily accomodated our group of six adults with plenty of space for everyone. And what a view! This year I was not up for skiing so I got to spend a lot of my days just enjoying the relaxing and spacious atmosphere of this beautiful home. The layout was the best of all the previous homes we had rented over the past four years. The kitchen is well equipped and a real joy to cook in. Want to stay in a wonderful vacation home? This is it!

Solitude Studio

January 2012
This was a perfect spot for us and would be for any couple. Close to Solitude and Brighton, which was a big plus. Others may want television that has satellite or cable, but we enjoyed the quiet. Great views, day and night. We will definitely look at this location again.

Uinta

December 2011
We had a wonderful stay at Uinta. Your booking personnel were great and the frequent contact during our stay by Carole was really appreciated. I have not previously been contacted by any other site the evening before departing to ensure that a snow plow would arrive before our departure, but that's exactly what Carole did. The house itself was beautiful and the accessibility to the slopes at Brighton allowed us to sleep late and still ski as much as we wanted. With the early season discount the price per night was reasonable for our group. We'll definitely plan to be back.

February 2010
Loved, loved, loved Uinta and the owners could not be more accommodating. The house is beautiful, well-located, and incredibly cozy. We had two families of (4) and everyone was happy/comfortable. The view from the hot tub on a snowy evening is the perfect way to end the day. Thanks for a perfect vacation, Linda!

February 2010
The house is terrific. We have stayed there 3 times and love it. It could be supplied a little better though. There weren't any tissues, napkins, we ran out of matches, foil, sugar. These are all things we could buy but without knowing they are needed that is difficult. Minor issue - otherwise it's great!
Debbie G.

December 2007
Uinta turned out to be the ideal spot for our short family get together. The floor plan provided numerous options for the four small grandchildren to play, while allowing the adults to get off in various corners to relax and enjoy the solitude. Linda has thought of everything; from amusements for the little kids to jigsaw puzzles for the big ones. The hot tub, walks in the snow, sledding, good skiing and the two fireplaces were all competing highlights. Great place to reunite - you know it's good when no one thinks to turn on the TV. Hope to do it again sometime.

March 2007
The 10 of us had an epic time at your home. We've never seen so much pow-pow (powder) ever before in our lives! The boarding was awesome, and so was the house side runs. We'll be back for sure!
