Great Western Lodge
Sunday, February 14th, 2010Deborah and Doug Ballard from Nashville, TN, were recent guests of our Great Western Lodge. They spent a memorable Valentines day with dinner and a sleigh ride in Heber.
Here is what Deborah had to say about her experience at Great Western: “The sleigh ride and dinner was very nice; we had a delightful time. The ride was a bit shorter than I expected, but it was fun. We went to a place called The Homestead actually in Midway UT right before you approach Heber. (The sleigh rides are through Rocky Mountain Outfitters) It is a resort built around the hot springs. The people were very friendly and welcoming. The dinner was excellent and at $68.00 per person for the dinner and sleigh ride, it was a good deal. The drive is a bit further than I would want to do in bad weather, but we didn’t have any problems.”
